AHMAD ANIS ADAM
Anis currently serves as President of Mississauga Ramblers. He has been a member of the club for over a decade, and has spent much of that time volunteering in various capacities, including as Captain, Secretary, Public Relations Officer, Club Captain and now President.
As Vice President, Roy works closely with Anis and the Executive Board to help build and maintain the Mississauga Ramblers’ exemplary profile. With a focus on always growing the game, Roy continues to pioneer and push for the expansion and development of junior cricket in the GTA region.
A top level cricketer himself, Rajesh’s work as our Junior Coordinator is how he passes on his knowledge of the game on to the next generation of young cricketers. His focus is on and growing kids’ passion for the game alongside their skills.

Favourite Rambler Memory: Anis has a number of favorite Rambler memories but highlights include taking a Ramblers team to play in the U.S. Open Cricket Tournament in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and winning the TDCA First Division Championship in 2014.
Fun Fact: Anis is a grill master and loves running BBQs at the Iceland Cricket Ground with the regular cast of Ramblers characters that show up!

Favourite Rambler Memory: Roy’s favorite memories include Rambler’s initial admittance into TDCA with our Under 15 Junior Team. It was an incredibly proud moment for Roy and for the club and it was only made more joyous when Ramblers won its first Under 19 championship in 2003.
Fun Fact: A long time Rambler, Roy’s previous executive positions include Public Relations Officer, Social Director and Club President!
Role Profile: As Treasurer, Vin works directly with the Executive Board to drive initiatives and ensure that our finances are always kept in check.

Favourite Rambler Memory: Vin’s favourite memories include a memorable win against a long time Ramblers’ rival in 2019. Ramblers chased down a daunting score of 280 which included a team high 59 from Vin’s bat. He also fancies himself as an allrounder and vividly remembers getting a chance to bowl for the first time with Ramblers and taking two wickets off the first two balls at Iceland Cricket Ground, finishing with a 4-wicket haul in 7 overs.
Fun Fact: Vin has played sports his entire life, representing the GCC countries in track and field and also played varsity basketball!
RAJBIR “ROCKY” DHILLON
Role Profile: As Club Captain, Rajbir (Rocky) wears many hats. From organizing practices, managing teams to keeping club spirit high; Rocky is as passionate as it comes for Mississauga Ramblers!
Member Since: 2016
Favourite Rambler Memory: Rocky was an important contributor to Ramblers winning the TDCA T20 Championship (Supaul Division Winners) in 2021 (named after the father of junior program – the late Mr. Anand Supaul). His incisive bowling spell both to open and close the innings of the finals were of paramount importance on the road to victory and remains his favourite memory!
Fun Fact: Mississauga Ramblers is Rocky’s first major cricket club and it is a second family to him.
Role Profile: A top level cricketer himself, Rajesh’s work as our Junior Coordinator is how he passes on his knowledge of the game on to the next generation of young cricketers. His focus is on and growing kids’ passion for the game alongside their skills.

Favourite Rambler Memory: When Rajesh joined Ramblers, it was after a gap of 8 years in which he had not played any cricket. However, proving both to himself and to the opposition that he was still just as effective, Rajesh took 6 wickets on debut for Ramblers and that comeback remains one of his favourite memories as a club member.
Fun Fact: Rajesh’s early days included working as a professional player for India Cements for 2 years and Indian Overseas bank for 5 years. Furthermore, he represented Edmonton Cricket Club in Middlesex, UK as an overseas player during the 2004-2005 season. Playing alongside top Indian players like Rahul Dravid and Robin Singh amongst others, he has an absolute wealth of knowledge about the game of cricket and is still amongst the most feared bowlers in TDCA!
Role Profile: As Communications Director, Haaris works deeply with the members of the club to ensure that Mississauga Ramblers brand is always first and foremost in both professionalism and eye-catching design.

Favourite Rambler Memory: Haaris’ favourite memory is an all-round performance for the ages! In the middle of a tight playoff race, Haaris struck an attacking 47 off 30 balls before shutting the door on the opposition’s chase with a career best 7-48!
Fun Fact: Haaris dedicates his passion for Ramblers to Anand Supaul. Anand was the Junior Coordinator when Haaris joined the club and had an incredible influence on him throughout his time. In memory of a great man, gone too soon, Haaris hopes to emulate that same passion for the next generation of Ramblers!
Role Profile: As Secretary, Ashish keeps all of Ramblers’ Executive Board well coordinated and ensures that all timelines are met.

Favourite Rambler Memory: Ashish is a simple man that recognizes that the Iceland Cricket Ground is a dream for any cricketer to get to play on. With one of the best turf wickets in Canada as well, Ashish’s favourite memories are whenever he gets an opportunity to play any game on turf at Iceland!
Fun Fact: An incredible utility cricketer with the ability to adapt to any game situation, Ashish has been a part of a number of championship squads with Ramblers including the inaugural Ramblers T20 League!
Role Profile: As Masters Coordinator, Surinder has the huge task of handling all of the activities related to Ramblers’ Masters members. From practices to games to social events, Surinder flawlessly handles it all.

Favourite Rambler Memory: Surinder’s favorite memory is of an incredible match at York University in which he took 2 stunning catches to help Ramblers tie a game from what seemed a lost situation.
Fun Fact: Surinder sees cricket as his way of disconnecting from everything and is always looking beyond the horizon. He loves spending his time delving into the mysteries of the universe, a place he feels we are not alone. While he would play cricket 24/7 if he could, when he is not playing he is always seen helping out with ground maintenance. The only thing Surinder enjoys more than a game of cricket, is rolling the turf wicket at Iceland Cricket Ground!
Role Profile: Helping build Mississauga Rambler’s profile within the community through organizing and hosting various social and community events. Murtaza is also one of the coaches for Ramblers’ Junior Program.
Member Since: 2021
Rambler Memory: Murtaza discovered that he had a love for keeping wickets when he was asked to do so in one of the first Ramblers Masters games he played. He surprised himself at how capable he was at it and thoroughly enjoyed an experience he would likely never have gotten without Mississauga Ramblers.
Fun Fact: Murtaza’s passion for the sport led him to work with his kids to build their own cricket pitch in their backyard where they now practice all summer long!
RIDHIMA (ADDY) BUDHWAR
Role Profile: Addy, as coordinator of the Women’s Cricket Program, has been instrumental in helping many new and prospective female cricketers get valuable coaching and game experience with Ramblers.
Member Since: 2022
Favourite Rambler Memory: In 2021 and on her birthday, Mississauga Ramblers won the T20 league final! Spending time with people who enjoyed being on the field and so obviously loved the game of cricket is what makes Ramblers special to her.
Fun Fact: Addy loves bowling and naturally learned how to bowl in-swinging deliveries before she even knew what they were!
